Chico took his datapad and started scrolling through the online contract.
"Yes," he answered. "There are stipulations for percentages on the prize
money. Let's see. Ah, here's another perk that I forgot to mention. Wow.
You get a ten percent payout on any sponsorship that you spot on your
gear. Still, where is that section on winnings," he stated, looking
perplexed. "Ah, it looks like the Colonel is offering five percent to
pilots of any gross netted in winnings." He looked up. "The prizes for the
upcoming Khayr ad-Din's Bulwark 1000 are 100,000, 75,000 and 50,000 for
first, second and third. That's in Peace Dollars though." He called up
another menu on his datapad. "With current exchange rates, you'd about
double that figure for dinars or marks." He paused, as he counted off in
his head. "That would be a minimum of 2,500 Peace Dollars for the team
placing in the upcoming race, but you could walk to the bank with as much
as 5,000 Peacers." He looked Juliette over, gauging her expressions. "So,
does that work for you,... or do you need more?"
