Unfortunately it fails again on reboot.
With the proper Security setting in the Settings file, starting/running
AntiSpam does not produce any error here, whether the SecureSockets
module is already loaded or not.
However, there appears to be an error in the code that handles
manipulating and saving the settings, which makes the Security settings
1 and 2 ((SecureSockets SSL/TLS and StartTLS) disappear. The AcornSSL
values (3 and 4) are not affected.
This must have been around for quite a while. I'm not sure when I'll
have the time to track it down and write a proper fix. I'm a bit busy at
the moment.
There is a quick fix (a.k.a. a hack): edit the Settings file manually.
Look for the Security keyword and replace the 0 following it with a 1
(for SSL/TLS) or 2 (StartTLS).
Alternatively, switch to the AcornSSL module for secure connections.
