Is it possible to search for a literal asterisk in a Subject field?
(There doesn't seem to be any 'escape' character defined.)

As long as it's not the first or last character of the rule's
'criterion' (at least that's how I remember it...).

Unfortunately it is:   it's subjects starting "****"

A relatively simple change to the code would allow for that. However, I
can't be certain that wouldn't mess things up for anyone else.

Something like making a rule's criterion 'quotable' in its entirety.
That is, put quotes around it and the effect of the asterisks is
cancelled. Of course, that means quote characters at the start and end
of the criterion wouldn't be found anymore. Does anyone use that?
Comments, please...

Regards,
Frank
