Because the AS rules I added caught something they were not intended to
catch. (Like when you ask something from one organisation and the reply
comes
back from somewhere completely different!)
The reason that AS creates log files is so that you can find out what it
is
doing for you. Back in the days when I used to advise people how to use
AS,
I was appalled at how lax some people were when coding DELETE rules -
seeming
not to realise that they could delete the wrong things.
Personally, I looked at the log files after EVERY run of AS, even when I
was
not trying to develop new features. (And I had to when I was.)
If I was contemplating a new delete rule I'd probably specify it as
either an
ACCEPT or a DEFER first, so I'd be able to see in the logs which mails
were
being caught by my test, without accidentally losing them.
