[amen] Russia: Meeting with youth leaders + new reviews of our book

Friends,
I am back from Russia and this time a note on a significant event
I participated in at our Christian center in Moscow. 
On Wednesday evening the 11th I met with people from the
Danielov Moscow Patriarchal Center for Youth Ministry (who also
study at our center ) and spoke to them about Japan, mission there
and of course the results of the earth quakes and so on...but also a
broad ranging discussion of mission. This is an example of our
ministries reaching out to serve the future of the Church in Russia
and I thinnk seeing this photograph from that evening of the
Danielov people you will see beginnings of a rich future for
Christ's work there.

Secondly I have made a page with recent reviews of my book "A Life
Together:wisdom of community from the Christian east" which comes
out of this our work. These are new reviews (at Amazon you will find others)
first by John N Perkins, psychologist, who captures what the book intends
to do beautifully and deeply, and then by Dr. Peter Bouteneff of St Vladimir's
and Sue Talley chair of music at Nyack college Manhatten New York.

I believe as I say that it comes from this our work...another very fine review
by fr Michael Plekon I also hold back because it is as yet unpublished in
the Cistercian Studies Quarterly.
