Members and Friends of Austin Mennonite Church
I pray the hope that has arisen with Easter has brought to you new assurance
and enduring peacefulness.
During his journey on the earth, Jesus introduced a radically different measure
of spirituality than the traditional Jewish standard. Only the miracle of
resurrection would convince the first disciples to leave behind behaviors they
had trusted before. They struggled to comprehend and adopt this new revelation.
Disciples are still discovering the implications of following the teachings and
example of Jesus. These thoughts will compose the sermon for this next Sunday,
'Another look at redemption.'
There is an opportunity for someone to assist Alex in the nursery this weekend
during worship. If you would enjoy doing this please be available to accompany
the young children following the 'Children's time.'
