Members and Friends of Austin Mennonite Church
I pray you are enriched by our journey with Jesus toward the revelation of
God's glory.
Our observation of Jesus this week liberates us at the very core of our
being. Jesus is in Jerusalem preparing to disclose the truth which
identifies him as God's word to the world. In nature we routinely observe
this same process. Everything in the creation naturally follows an
unfolding progression that eventually brings to the surface an internal
design; ..everything except the human creature. Human beings alone seem to
be capable of intentionally deviating from this internal design. Jesus is
an exception. Following him means trusting God's design: generating courage
to live consistently the vision of life that is within us. These thoughts
will compose the sermon for this next Sunday, 'Consistency as the pathway to
discovery.'
Daylight savings time begins early Sunday morning. 'Spring forward' one
hour on Saturday evening.
We will share our community meal together this Sunday at noon.
