Subject: [amc] Women's Group Location -- Who is planning to come??
All --- but especially women of the church,
Our next regular Women's Gathering will be Thursday, July 20, one week from
today. Often times, the summer gatherings are very small due to people
traveling. This can be a good thing b/c it gives the opportunity for women
with smaller spaces to consider hosting the group.
If we have a small group (5 or less), Donna Wills is open to hosting our
meeting at her apartment. (If she is feeling really poorly, we will need a
back-up meeting place ... but we won't know that until July 20 am.) Her
apartment is very close to Braker Lane and I-35 (on the east side of I-35). I
will be helping her to get some refreshments ready for the meeting.
If you are in town and know you want to attend the July women's group, please
respond to this email so we can determine if we will indeed have a smaller
gathering.
If you are planning to attend and willing to be flexible for a last-minute
change of location, please respond via this listserv or talk with Donna,
Gloria, Marcia , Janice or myself before Tuesday, July 18.
If the number of confirmed attendees is larger than 5, we will need someone to
volunteer as hostess. If you would like to serve as the last-minute back up
hostess, please let us know that too.
