*Sep 18, Sat, 10-11:30 am - "Caring for Creation Part 4" a family-friendly
(especially younger children) gathering outside at Austin Mennonite Church,
5801 Westminster Dr, Austin TX 78723. *We start out in front of the church
with greetings and singing and then make our way to the playground area for
story-telling and activities (bubbles, swings, playground equipment, sand,
etc.) Another activity will be planting some flowers near the front
entrance of the church. All activities are outside but please wear
masks. It is helpful to know who is coming so we can plan. Please call or

“ Welcome!,” a Sunday school class exploring the book, Fusion: Turning
First Time Guests Into Fully Engaged Members of Your Church, by Nelson
Searcy (Baker, 2017). We will be discussing this book, sharing our own
experiences, and developing ways to help AMC welcome guests. High school
and above are welcome..
11:00 am - Worship Service: The Lamb, the Child, and the Servant, by Stacy
Vlasits. Power flows into us, all of us, from God and from those who love
us. God’s love and righteousness demands that we acknowledge that power
and allow it to flow out of us, to others.
