Mary, some members of Austin Mennonite Church may not understand our
affiliation with Western District Conference and Mennonite Church USA.
Lancaster Mennonite Conference withdrew from Mennonite Church USA recently;
this development was and is very disheartening to many of us with
connections to this conference. Western District Conference has worked hard
to keep the conference truly welcoming to local churches with diverse
opinions on today's wedge issues.
