That is too bad that it didn't work out for the Ten Thousand Villages
merchandise.

It is not too late though for people to attend. You can stop by for just a
few minutes. There is a petting zoo which young children really enjoy.
There is a velcro wall for teenagers and adults to have fun with. APD will
have a soccer kick for all ages and they will test your kicking speed with
their radar. The Vietnamese Dragon Dancers from Walnut Creek Elementary
kick off the event at 10 a.m with a beautiful dance. The LBJ High School
jazz band plays great music in the afternoon. The mayor Pro Tem Jackie
Goodman will be there at noon with a proclamation for the neighborhood and
Dolly and Carol and others will be leading the Northeast Community Song.
You can certainly get a flavor of the neighborhood if you stop by for a
little while.

And, yes, we'll all work toward making a Mennonite Booth happen next year!

NE Community Harvest Fest
Saturday, November 23rd
10 a.m to 4 p.m.
Reagan High School (down by the gym area and in the cafeteria)

Come one, come all!
