the deep red tulip symbolises the warmth of the
Mennonite religion.
Just as Menno Simons pioneered the development of
the Mennonites, which is now a world wide community,
so the tulip has become synonymous the world over
with the image of The Netherlands. Both notable
reputations are now irrevocably bound to each other.
And now also on the internet.

Doopsgezinde Societeit (ADS), now Doopsgezind Nederland.
