*Sharing of Joys and Concerns from Sunday, July 23, 2017*
- Jackie - struggling with a difficult situation at work.
- Clayton - the semester is ending next week and Hannah and I are going
to Maine next week. I will be visiting a friend with cancer.
- Rudy - There will be a change in routine for me with Michelle staying
with me during the week so that she is able to attend a school that
emphasizes drama/theater.
- Steve H. - good to be back after two weeks at Wimbledon and connecting
with friends there and making new friends. I missed Pat.
- Peggy - my recent CAT scan means that I will need nasal surgery in the
near future.
- Lee - welcomed Terri's sister and brother in law, Mary Lou and Sandy
Andrews from Virginia Beach. They will be in town for a few weeks visiting.
They have a son, daughter in law and grandchildren in Austin.
- Michael - it's good to be back after spending six weeks in Kentucky
with the MCC SWAP program. Michael shared about the experience during adult
Sunday school along with Craig Miller who spent a week there also.

*6:30pm – *Men’s Group meets at Bob Koehn’s, 7809 Cheno Cortina Tr.
*Aug 4, FRI, 6pm* - Small group serves meal to homeless at Front Steps.
*Aug 5, SAT, 4:30pm* - South Small group meets at Susan and Thomas'.
*Aug 6, SUN* – Sunday school, worship with open communion, potluck
fellowship meal.
*August 4-6 *Annual Assembly of the Western District Conference, Arlington

regional gathering of Mennonites from TX, OK, KS and NE. Western District
Conference is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year.

*Aug 13, SUN* – Sunday school, worship, Education Committee meeting,
Contemplative Prayer group.
*Aug 20, SUN* – Sunday school, worship, Young Adult lunch.
*Aug 27, SUN* – Sunday school, worship with fall Sunday school kickoff.
*Sep 15, FRI, 6:30pm* - Regional small groups meet together at AMC for a
meal, singing, prayer, and discussion about small groups. This is an
opportunity to become part of an AMC regional small group.
*Oct 7, SAT – *AMC’s Third Annual Pancake Breakfast WPNA scholarship
fundraiser.
