Thanks heaps!

We use 2 pieces of 1.5 oz cutaway. You definitely need stability on
t-shirts.

Font wise, it all depends on how big you are making the names. If they are
decent size, then it's not much of an issue and you can pick one that
matches the look for their logo etc. I am big on Sans-Serif fonts because
they don't have any jutting out points and make for easier sewing. It's all
in your personal preferences however. I'm huge into typography since I do
graphic design. (FYI - here's the definition of a serif - A small
decorative line added as embellishment to the basic form of a character.
Typefaces are often described as being serif or sans serif (without serifs).
The most common serif typeface is Times. A common sans serif typeface is
Arial.)

If you go small, the micro fonts work best. Be sure to check out the code
sheets and they should give you some hints on where to start with settings
wise and then experiment from there.

I will be buying them. Gildan 100% pocket t's.
Any suggestions as to the font and settings that you would suggest???
What type of backing do you use?

It can be done... we stitch on T's all the time - you really need to watch
your density settings - in other words, only make it as dense as it has to
be. Maybe even think of doing the names with a smaller needle and smaller
thickness thread.

Are these shirts you are buying or shirts they are supplying? If they are
supplying - I'd be wary unless you can get the exact make and thickness of
the shirts so you can buy one and do a bunch of practice sew outs.

Bottom line is - it's possible.

I have an organization who would like names stitched on tshirts. Any
suggestions from anyone so it does not develop holes where it is
stitched???? Thanks for all of your help!
