Subject: [amayausers] Re: thread breaks

I sew most designs between 750 and 900 spm
because I thought the speed had something to do
with it. If it's not the speed then I can run at
1100-1200 but I will still get a break on just
about every design I sew.

I did a batch job for a school recently. 22
shirts about 9000 stiches per shirt and I had 47
breaks on the design which is one less than 5000
stitches. I'm not ready to call the tech because
it could be something I'm doing wrong, but it
seems to happen no matter what needle I use. My
next attempt will be to change all 16 needles and
clean out any sticky gunk although I've done all
the maintenance including the recent 2million
stitch maintenance.
