Just passing along some 'commercial' prices to help others figure out where
they stand...
these are from RiverMill company..
minimum 25 pieces (this is for stadium blanket at $4.80 net)
$2.00 for 7k stitches
Digitizing= $12.00 NET per 1k stitches, minimum $50 digitizing fee!
So a 7k logo would be $84.00 NET digitizing fee.
25 blankets= (25 x $2, + $84) $134 embroidery charge (NET) or $5.36 per
logo, 77¢ per thousand actual cost.
Then you add freight on top of that...
I compare embroidery costs all the time-must get in anywhere from 3-4 to 10
or more 'email' flyer specials every day.
Sometimes there are some absolutely unbeatable prices (like canvas ball
caps, NET at $2.29 with 5k stitches) but usually if you find a 'low' stitch
price they make up for it with high 'logo fee'.
