Chad,

It helps to know the history or evolution of the Melco and Amaya machines.

The older Melco's used versions of the CCF/WAD frames.

The early Amayas used primarily the WACF, but folks used the CCF/WAD also. The
CCF/WAD, for that matter, can be used on all the Amayas, XT, XTS and Bravo. The
CCF/WAD is not a wide angle frame and does not have as wide a sewing area as
the WACF (Wide Angle Cap Frame).

Then along came the XT. The XT used the cap driver designation of XT WACF and
the cap driver was still a one piece version. Later Melco made a change to the
cap driver where the cap driver cylinder was separated from its guide rails.
This series is designated XT EXTENDED WACF The rails could stay permanately
installed on the machine or removed for special sewing applications.

If your machine is an XTS, the XT EXTENDED cap driver designation is the one
you should be using.
