Roland,

Even the hardcopy is fun since they have so many dang styles of hats. After embroidering for 10 years I have accumulated plenty of hats to run samples on. I probably have 1500 hats in the back room. I have a few customers that come in once or twice a year and pick a few hundred hats that I have in stock just to help me get rid of them and plus they like to have a good selection of different hats.

One of my contractors bought one of those otto auction cases and had them shipped here. Not too many hats in there that I would sell to a customer but great for practicing I guess.

Ottocap does make/sell good hats-I've been buying their 'auction' cases-have
a case of 144 coming in now I got for $90 + freight. Mostly cheap ball caps
with plastic back, but usually 1-2 dozen of the ottoflex. I practice or do
cheap jobs on the low end hats, and get $12-$15 each for the flex fit
hats-so we make plenty of $$ for the deal. Last case I bought there were 5
cases and I was the only bidder! Worth watching their website.
I'm hoping to get a 'printed' catalog from them-trying to figure out
comparison hats on their website takes hours....I need hardcopy!

I have ordered blanks from Falcon. They have nice hats and are a great
price. They tend to have lots of backorders is one reason I don't deal with
them too much. Some of my contractors use them. I have never outsourced a
hat order so I have no idea on the quality of stitching but would assume its
fine.

Otto is another company that will do contract embroidery at reasonable
prices and they will even sew on hats that are not their own brand. Again I
have never had them do any.
