Hi Barbara,
You say that you re downloaded the default table, by this do you mean
from the calibration tab of the maintenance menu? If so you will need to
have your needle case centering redone, you will want to call Melco tech
support tomorrow and see if they can talk you through it or get a tech to
come in and do it for you.

Since installing the software upgrade for the XT, I've had nothing but
trouble. The needle keeps drifing to the left. It will sew one or two
colors and then thread shred and break!. I'm now catching it before it
shreds, as I'm checking the needle position with each change and adjusting
it.
This is getting really OLD! We've re-downlaoded the default table etc.
etc.
I believe it is a software error and I just don't know what to do about
it. I did re-load the upgrade.
Has anyone else had this problem and what works? I'm on warranty and I'm
not too keen on paying for a visit only to have it happen in another week
because the sofware has a bug.
Any fixes?
