Now that was a good description---just the Amaya "snoring"!!

And right again...nothing major is loose....and it is the bigger motors that 
have "encoders" on them trying to hold things like the panagraph, X carriage, Z 
axis, etc in place. This sets up a harmonic vibration that will travel to the 
"weakess" point, so to speak, which will be the loose bobbin case or the hoop 
arms or plastic parts that have some play in them...etc and they start to 
buzzzzzz.....zzzzzzzz......

You  can bump it ...kind of like thumping your spouse, when they are snoring 
too loud in bed.... ;-)}

Snoring....I like that....
