I have been using it in Windows compatible mode for a couple years, and have regressed to Win98 after tinkering with WinxXP, Win200 etc compatible. Win64 then lauches the program with basic visual graphics. Either way, it freezes, goes to black screen or dies with more or less frequency. Because of which, I don't use 3D much and am careful with converting graphics to stitches, automatic digitising, wire-frame editting of sequins etc. Still just clicking to open a file in the explorer window can cause it to die. When that happens to get the program working again, I go delete temp files in the Programs files for Melco Design Shop and sometimes rename a certain *.cff file. If I don't it launches, and dies again when you go open a file et ad nauseuam. You can also sometimes jiggle it back to life by right-clicking the file you want to open and clicking open with Design Shop instead of launching the program directly. A real pain. I say all this in case anybody is having issues and is looking for tips. I would upgrade to Win7 if I thought DS 7 worked on that OS. =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list ===========================================================
