LuAnn, A couple other ideas. . . . .mine are plugged into a power strip and I turn that off. Or, you can put them to "sleep" at night and "wake" them up in the morning. (But, I don't think putting them to sleep protects from power surges) Or, there is a switch that can be put on the front. Hope this helps!
