I took advantage of the free training as I no prior experience with machine
embroidery. It was somewhat helpful but I didn't not care for the instructor
and that makes a difference for me. She was a bit too condescending for my
taste and I e-mailed her once with a question and got a less than customer
friendly response. What would be nice is a troubleshooting session that
would be offered after 6 months of machine ownership, at least for me that
would be very helpful. The training on the Design Shop was horrible!!!!!!
You can't mix newbies and experienced people and expect anyone to get
anything out of it. If I were to go again it would be to another location so
I could get a different instructor at least. To be honest I have learned
more from this and 2 other user groups plus hands on than I did in the
training. I guess in my opinion and my personal experience this is the one
area I felt Melco let me down but I still like my Amaya.
