Use a Cut-away stabilizer, so that the spandex is prevented from pulling
through the design. Smaller design's work better on these items, due to the
loss of sterchiness.

Subject: [amayausers] Track Uniforms

I am another one of the "New" listers and embroiderers. I have been asked
to embroider a track emblem and school name on the front of black spandex
one piece track uniforms. This is our first "paid" job and I am nervous
about sewing on spandex. Does anyone have some suggestions about how to sew
on this? The emblem is a Dakota tennis shoe with wings and then the
lettering. Any advice would be appreciated.
