I had an order for 100 of the black rollers and was called that they are
back-ordered and out of stock.

After emailing Jeff I switched to the new rollers last week. I've done
about 2,000,000 stitches on them and they seem to be holding up. I am
having trouble with one but I want to get more info and try some tests
before I talk to Melco about it so that I can answer questions. For the
project I'm working on I use 5 colors. The new rollers are producing the
best satin stitches my machine has ever produced. If they hold up like
Melco says, it's going to be a huge cost savings. The 100 rollers were
$164.00. The kit was $95.00. Considering that I expected to order another
100 before Christmas, this will definitely be worth it if they hold up.

Amen Wendy!
Sue was going to place an order for 100 rollers this week to stock up in
case we ever needed them....we don't like being 'forced' to upgrade either!

That really irritates me. They aren't going to offer the old roller so
basically we are FORCED to pay $95 to upgrade??? I don't like that at
all!!!!! I have never had that much trouble with the old system and do not
like being forced into spending my hard earned money on something that is
unecessary.

Hey all,
Just thought I'd drop in again and let every one know that didn't know (like
me)
but, I just had ordered this morning from Melco, some of the old thread feed
rollers.
and they called back later to tell me that Melco is no longer selling the
old thread feed rollers.

if you need some you either need to know someone who will sell you some
of their extras or make your own, OR, upgrade for $95 to the new system.
So hopefully all will go well when our first set shows up in a few days.

I didn't realize that they were not going to support both systems.
since I don't have much trouble with the old system.
So just an FYI for anyone that might have needed more.
you'll need to switch to the new system.
