I know nothing about the MasterWorks software but you can "try before you buy"
at http://www.designersgallerysoftware.com/trials/
Embroidery software can be a big investment so take your time, do your
research, try as many of the brands of digitizing programs that you can and in
the end, choose the software which best suits your own needs, comfort of use
and budget.
When comparing software, do not get too hung up on auto-digitizing features
.... its the manual digitizing capabilities which are most important.
