Probably some of you are going to say she does what?

Small lettering .2 inch................this job was on sweatshirt material
with some of the lettering on an applique material and some was not. So
please experiment on your own.

I use 60 wt. black and 60 wt. white by J&P Coats "Extra Fine" that you
can buy in a sewing/fabric store. Because the spool won't fit on the Amaya
I cut lengths of hanger wire about 8". On each end of the wire I put a
bend. The top slightly so the spool of thread doesn't run off. Secondly
the bottom of the wire I put an ever so slight bend just so it wouldn't fall
way down into the "Thread Tube". Then go by diagram below ( hope you can
read it...it is crude and hurried but sometimes saves alot of keyboarding
and questions later).

Now here is the part you will say.........You did what? Because the spool
supplies a slight amount of tension I flipped the thread feeder lever up.
Yes....no thread feeder lever. This was for the .2 lettering on the
applique. The trade off was that I did once in a while get a small amount
of looping....but the lettering was perfectly legible. No thread feeder
lever allowed the tension to be just enough that the thread stayed on top of
the fabric making a crisper more legible letter.

Also, you can try putting the thread feeder lever down and putting the
material thickness on zero. So much for thinking outside the box.

For feedback.........let me know if anyone tries this and how it worked for
you. Should I patent my technique and sell it to Melco or should I just
continue to be the crazy embroiderer.
