Sounds like a voltage or a circuit board issue. You can get a voltage meter
at Home Depot and test it. I believe Melco gives free phone support for the
life of the machine but you have to pay for the parts if you do not have an
extended warrenty with it. (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.)
I wouldn't run the EMC until it it fixed, you don't want to cause more
damage. Melco is still open for 45 more minutes.
From: "Dean Zellman" <mrstitch@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <amayausers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Fri, 7 Oct 2005 11:46:06 -0700 My Melco EMC10T was in the middle of a design and then slowed to a stitch every few seconds. In addition , the stop button would not work either. I would turn off the machine, restart and after some 500 stitches the same thing would happen. We let the design finish to the next color change and the machine resumed to the normal speed.
If the problem is in the design, why would the stop button not function?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
