Ouch!
And no way to prove if the machine was REALLY working BEFORE it was
'crated'....
I feel bad for her...too late to cancel the check I bet!
I've had to make claims with trucking companies before-and have NEVER
heard of the $5 per POUND insurance-they had me send copies of the
invoices of the damaged goods. Took weeks, but eventually got paid in
full.
Hate to say it but she got 'hosed'....big time!
Maybe if this ebay machine doesn't get a bid you can pick it up for
$3500 and take HERS for parts!
Then give her the good one.
Buyer beware!
