Wendy, I've read all the posts regarding your question on the hats. Everyone has given some good info for you to follow. Here are a couple of things that I have found to make things easier...... I have found that doing the sides and back of caps to be much faster and easier when I use " Fast Frames" and sticky backing. Altho there are some designs that I still would use the WACF (270 degree) cap frame for, I have found it to work best on some uncunstructed caps because the small narrow band thet goes across the front of the bill of the cap, helps to hold the cap down and helps to stop flagging. I prefer using the standard cap frame for most hats ( CCF/WACF ). It may be a personal preference thing, but there are several of us that feel it is just a faster and easier frame to hoop hats on. I have used the round hoops to add designs or names to the back of hats also, but, The " Fast Frames" with sticky backing has been the trick for me, fast and easy...uh..easier...that is.
