[amayausers] Patches

A customer walked into the shop with some shirts that have a heat sealed patch
already attached. The patch is shield shaped. They are concerned that they
may not stay attached and would look better if they had a border embroidered
around the patch. I know how to do patches like appliques, but does anyone
have any tricks for lining this up "after the fact"??? Thanks.
