Subject: [amayausers] Battery back-up Revisited

I just had a friend of mine come over and put a meter on my Amaya while =
it was running, he also tested the voltage at the outlet which was 119 =
volts, the Amaya at 1500 spm only draws 1.3 amps, if you multiply amps =
by voltage you get watts in my case it would be 1.3 x 119 =3D 154.7, =
That should give anyone wanting to get a battery back-up a better idea =
of what they need. My friend also told me that you should never tax a =
battery back-up system more then 80% so for my 2 Amayas and computer I =
am getting the APC - 1500va battery back-up system from Best Buy which =
is good for 865 watts and should be able to add another Amaya to it if I =
needed to. I hope I didn't confuse anyone. If anyone has any questions, =
if I don't have the answers I will get them.
