I understand that the pes file has "issues" but I am not knowledgeable enough
to explain why.
Most people who can accept pes can accept dst or exp. First, check with them
about these formats.
I don't use Design shop for digitizing, but the software that I use has a
machine format option to choose the number of jumps that constitute a trim. You
may be able to fine tune the file using an option like this.
