I have an XT that I just completed maintenance on, needle case is now all the
way to the left (on needle 1) with the needle descended into the needle plate.
I needed to take off the black plate on the right hand side (the one with 5
screws) to do the maintenance, replaced it loosely with no problem. When
maintenance was complete and I tried to return to sewing, needle 1 came down
and will not move when machine is activated.
Seems that I had this issue before and it turned out to be a software problem
that can be quickly fixed if I could only remember the procedure!
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated! Like most of us, I have a large
project that should be finished by tomorrow!
