Yeah, it doesn't hurt to try to eliminate other problems on the lettering but
either way you can't change the fact that the ampass is designed to be sewn
with 2 pieces of heavy cutaway backing and if the design doesn't register then
you can't call it a design problem. I guess you could hoop the backing too
loose but even then double cutaway is pretty sturdy and should register on the
ampass design. Thats the only thing thowing me off from the other
possibilities. I guess he didn't say if he ran the AMPASS on backing or if its
on satin as well which could change things also.
