Hi Juli.  Yup checked all that. but it all was right.  I checked some older 
postd and someone suggested to check the manual for hook timing adjustment.  I 
am currently attempting to do this for the first time, and am feeling lost.  I 
checked the hook point for the correct position, and all seems fine.  Looks the 
same on the other machine too.  I am still at a loss, as to what could be 
causing these needle breaks.  Any other suggestions you can think of?  Thanks 
for your help.  It's good to have this as a resourse for when one is feeling 
LOST!!
