The post was instantly labeled as having a "scam" factor when I included verbiage given to me by a Melco V-P to help avoid my becoming a victim to fraud in the secondary market. This was subsequently locked by an administrator, yet it still remains a valid and open request for items that I am in the market to buy for my own use. While there is a basic guide sticky for items to sell in the classified forum, there is nothing to help guide those that want to buy. So I am now here, asking what is a proper or acceptable way to write or formatted a Want To Buy post that not only reinforces its legitimacy to sellers by avoiding "scam" connotations, but also preserves the buyer's interests and concerns in the transaction? A simple list format? Fill in the blank leaving out any buzz words? A very short one-liner with no details? I have always been opposed to partial listings, preferring to lay all the cards on the table right up front so both sides know what the other is made of with nothing left to after the fact. Nonetheless, I also need to abide by the rules of the forum while trying to get things done. Any and all constructive guidance is solicited and appreciated. Thank you. =========================================================== The AmayaUsers Mailing List Website: http://www.amayausers.com Discussion Board: http://www.amayausers.com/boards Subscribe/Unsubscribe: http://www.amayausers.com/list ===========================================================
