I was going down the line doing all of the maintenance steps. Everything was
going great until I got to the last or second to last step. I'm not sure which
one I was on--the 20,000,000 or 100,000,000. The 20,000,000 had reset the
remaining stitches back to 20,000,000, so I think I finished that one.
Anyway, I had removed the right upper arm front cover, lifted the pressure foot
while greasing the black plastic piece behind the white piece. (I believe the
cam follower.)
It flashed a BIG sign to make sure I had the cover replaced or it could cause
damage and a service would be required. I had the cover replaced, but as soon
as I clicked okay, it will not continue. It keeps telling me the head is not
up and it made a noise (not terrible) and tells me "there has been an error
moving machine. maintenance will not continue." and "y timeout error. took
too long to do y move."
Of course, I have an order due Monday. Is this going to require a service or
can someone out there help me?
Thanks so much!
