Yeah, another investment we thought we were going to need when we started.
Paid over $800 for our HoopMaster system and really don't use it that much.
It's a great idea and works great in certain areas. We use the smaller
hooping device sometimes and never use the large shirt device. I'd like to
know how many of you out there actually use a hooping device or just go with
eye ball placement?

I make a template if I have more than 1 or 2 items. Take a plastic 3 ring
binder and cut one cover off and trim it to use
as your template. Put the proper alignment marks on it and then use it to
mark the garments. Only use a fabric pencil to mark garments. Use a
permanant marker to mark on the plastic template. Put a couple of alignment
marks on your hoop to correspond to the marks you made with the template.
Perfect alignment every time. It takes me less time using this method than
using the $800 hooping device I bought. It now sits in a closet. Anyone want
to buy a perfectly good All-In-One Hooper cheap? Hollar if you need help.

LOL. Apparently I do as well. I just stink at hooping though. For EBP
hooping, I usually let my wife do it. If it weren't for the all in one
hooper, I would be lost. Too bad the big jacket back hoops don't fit on
that!

I just center the design in the hoop, lay the hoop on the garment using EBP
( eye ball placement), and use a ruler to fine tune buy measuring from the
hoop brackets to the a reference point. There may be easier ways but I like
to do things the hard way.
