It sounds as if you have possibly bent the rotary hook retaining finger and it
is no longer holding the hook basket from spinning freely. The finger fits into
a slot in the basket and is set with a guage that is supplied with your starter
kit. The spacing is 20 to 22 thousands using the guage...
The finger "must" be enguaged in the rotary hook basket or damage may result to
the hook or machine....
