Ron, I ran them for a while, I am not running them anymore however. When I used them I loosened up the bobbin tension screw to the point that without a magnetic bobbin in it, the bobbin drops to the floor with no tension on the bobbin. That's my two cents. cr Cheryl Rotter Team Sports Ink 5111 Grumann Dr. Ste #1B Carson City, NV 89706 775-884-3550 -----Original Message----- From: amayausers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:amayausers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Body Cover Sent: Tuesday, October 18, 2005 4:36 PM To: amayausers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [amayausers] Magnetic core bobbins Hey All, I am wondering if anyone who's using the fil-tec magnetic core bobbins, can tell me what is the adjustment process for bobbin tension? I usually use the method that gives me just short of a slow steady drop with a slight wrist motion. But, is the magnet stopping it from spinning? or do I really need to loosen it up to achieve the same drop. Thanks in advance to anyone that can shed some light!!
