Well John, Although I don't have an exact answer, I was thinking of discussing with them items such as you described: X / Y home sensor or sensor PCB, software version, machine type, corrupt files, force download, advanced mode vs. standard mode, reconfiguration, hoop chosen in hoop list, design format, isolated or reoccuring problem, etc... Of course making sure they understand how to pick up where the left off after problem is fixed if need be. Sometimes the emergency stop button can be the source of glitches when least expected. These are just a few things that came to mind that I would discuss over the phone. Ed Orantes -------------- Original message from "John Yaglenski" <john@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>: -------------- Hey Mr. Ed: Isn't this fixable in most cases by hitting the estop, pushing the carriage all the way back, then all the way to the right, turning the machine off, releasing the estop and turning the machine back on again? That way, the machine finds home (hopefully) by forcing the sensor to come all the way back from that extreme position? Cleaning off the sensor and the rail that is painted white (where it finds the end of the rail) doesn't hurt either... - - - - John Yaglenski President / Chief Executive Officer Levelbest Communications I: www.levelbest.com P: 301.591.2481 / 888.229.1779 graphic & web design - strategic marketing - community websites This e-mail message and any attachments are confidential and may be privileged. Now no matter what we try we can't get the hoop (hat holder assembly) to move to the home position, I mean it moves but too the new position way to the left. We have tried to use the center hoop keys on the machine, and the buttons in the OS, we reset the design. we E-stopped and reset, we've shut down the machine, and tried to reconfigure but it is grayed out in the OS. Anyone have any ideas?!??
