I have this same problem but it's happened every time I have tried to place an on-line order in the last 2 months and it doesn't seem to happen at any certain time of the day. I tried to make Melco aware of this when I've called to place my order over the phone but I got some pretty apathetic responses and I wonder if the information I gave them went anywhere. Because of the 2 hour time difference here it can be somewhat of an inconvenience to phone in an order so the on-line ordering is really important to me. As a Melco employee maybe you could let the IT dept. at Melco know this is a recurring problems with on-line customers.

I am not sure, but I do not think it had to do with maintenance. I think
servers were down. I could not get into email from our servers last night as
well. When this happens, it is normally a server problem or our ISP or our
T1 had problems.

I always get frustrated when trying to do something on the internet and find
the site is "down". Maybe someone from Melco could let us know if and when
they have regularly scheduled times that the site will be down for
maintenance etc. From being in IT development for 20 years I know that the
most systems are scheduled to be off line at some point in time, sometimes
its only once a month, sometime once a day. At least if we know then we
could schedule around it.

Yes! This has been an ongoing issue for me for over a month. I have
mentioned it everytime I have to call and place an order and everyone I've
spoken to about this and all they can say is "Oh, really?". Very frustrating
for me as I do alot of my ordering at night and not being able to do so on
the internet is a hassle.
