Hi all, and Merry Christmas! I forgot to share this awhile back, and can't
remember if anyone else answered the question.
After you set up the applique shape, right click on it in the design tree (the
right side of the design shop screen), then left click on "Properties" at the
bottom of the pop up box. The applique properties box will appear, and it's
divided into three sections on the first page. Left click on the "properties"
button in the "Tackdown" section, and change the density setting from 4 to 25
or 30. Click on apply.
I had just completed a bunch of patches before Red went toes up, and none of
them ruffled using this new setting.

I don't have to change my needles this New Years.....but what a way to get out
of it!
