Allow me to share this tidbit of information:
If you happened to start sewing your design from somewhere other than hoop
center, and then you have to start over and/or need to get to a specific
point in your design, the feature that you need to use is called "Move to
Last Origin".
It is found under the "Tools" heading at the top of the page.
After you reset your design you can also do a "hoop center" if you wish.
Then go to "Tools", "Move to Last Origin" and the hoop will move to the
location where you last started the design. Remember that you only get one
"last origin". Once you start your design from a different location, it
overwrites the previous information and records only the "Last Origin",
hence the name.....

Usually it means you have dust or something on the 'sensor' in the back
behind the needle case (I don't think this is true for the XT's, is it now?)
and you need to air blast it both sides.
You may have to shut down and restart....and there is a safeguard in the
program that it should restart in the same spot.
If you watch your 'stitch count' in Amaya OS, if you can't get it to restart
where it stopped, reset the design, recenter hoop, and just move it ahead to
the stitches where it stopped and go from there.
Warning...if you had shifted the hoop to get the design where you wanted it
instead of 'hoop center' and 'design center'...then this won't work-you will
never find the exact same starting point again!
So I learned not to move the design around with hoop commands...get it
centered in design shop first.
