If you look behind the needle case, where the 'tooth wheel' is for adjusting the presser foot height it-it is somewhere in that dark recess that you can't see anything! We blast out that whole area, and the same on the other side. I think in the manual/book it has a better picture that shows what is behind there and exactly where the sensor is. Sue hit it on one side with the air can this morning and watched a lot of 'fluff' come flying out before I started hats-good thing!
