Sometimes I am plauged by these. The needle lifting the material causes most. I
lower the presser foot then, tighten the bobbin slightly or add a tearaway
layer under the hoop. If it happens on a cap. but not on all caps, I may just
back up 13 stitches and press go until it gets past it.
Wish I had better info for you. Maybe someone else has a good solution.
