Darlene, go to the Amaya user board and 'search' for warranty thread...it was really

hashed over last year and the consensus was...
just one jammed needle head disaster and your warranty has paid for itself for 2 years.... unless they changed it, you have to extend it every year-you can't buy multi year extension. BUT with each year extension-there is a mandatory service tech visit to totally go over and fine
tune your amaya...that alone is worth half the year's price.
Look at it this way...your new machine is over $10,000 or more to replace it. Break some major pieces or fry the motherboard...and without warranty...what are you going to do? having the warranty in place means you should be able to get, I'd guess....8 years or more out of
it unless you work it hard?
I am not sure but there might be a discount for multi machine warranties...probably a service tech will jump in here...or else call Melco, get a sales SUPERVISOR and negotiate!
Never hurts to ask.
We're still paying on our lease, and $100 per month on top for the warranty...wouldn't be without it!

I was wondering if any of you have purchased the extended warranty after your Amaya initial warranty has expired, if so, how long have you extended yours???

I am thinking that $1200 per year per machine really adds up. If you have 5 Amayas, $6000 a year for warranties is steep I think. I know it is a good idea especially if you have to purchase a new mother board or motor, but has that been an issue with many of the older Amayas??/

Just wondering what other peoples feelings were about this?
thanks!
