The Amaya software has a feature built in that will automatically insert a trim if the jump stitches are more than three in a consecutive order. You have the ability to change this value if you'd like. In Amaya OS, you click on "Settings", and then again the tab named "Settings" and here you will see "jump for trim" and a field with the number 3 in it. This will not work for you if your letters are really small and there aren't any jump stitches between the letters. It all comes down to what your digitizer did from the start.
