How MUCH is loads of ram? Photoshop is a ram HOG...and the more ram it uses up
the slower things will run.
I run photoshop CS (1) on two different mini Macs, one with 4 gig ram and one
with 2 gig ram-and there is a definite speed difference.
Some of my files run up to 750 meg per image...so even without any other
programs running-photoshop can go so slow you can watch the pictures 'roll'
across to fill the blank screen.
And no, I don't run Amaya or DS on the macs...
